Discover NEWCAP Event Center, our brand new space dedicated to Parisian events. In total, three years of hard work will have been necessary to redesign the site. A place that has fallen into disuse and badly in need of updating. It was Nicolas Lecoeur, founder and ex-manager of the Fleur de Mets caterer, who took up the challenge to make Cap 15 a Mecca for conventions, seminars and trade fairs in Paris. The site was subsequently renamed NEWCAP Event Center, in tribute to this 180 degree turn wanted by Nicolas Lecoeur. The latter’s ambition is clear: to make NEWCAP Event Center the best convention center in Paris.
Three years of work
Restoring this aging and old-fashioned place to its former glory to make it a real conference room required the services of a seasoned architect. And it is Reda Amalou, famous French architect and designer, who inherited this ambitious project.
The objective, namely to create a reception space that is at once sober, elegant and contemporary, was not the most simple. But not enough to scare the designer, who has made his mark with large architectural firms and French and English design.
It was in August 2016 that NEWCAP Event Center was finally able to rise from the ashes of Cap 15. It is now a functional and operational place, offering great modularity, that customers can appropriate at any point to organize an event in Paris. All while preserving the site’s historic location.
An ideal location
Nestled in the heart of the fifteenth arrondissement, on the quai de Grenelle, the NEWCAP space enjoys a dream location. Close to the Seine, the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars, it is very easily accessible. You can just as easily get there via metro line 6, getting off at Bir Hakeim station, as with RER C, Champ de Mars station. Those who wish to get there by car will also find the site easily accessible, with parking available.
In addition, many quality hotel infrastructures are located near the site. You will indeed find large hotel complexes such as Mercure, Novotel or Pullman, where to accommodate your customers during your seminar in Paris for example.
To meet the needs of our customers from all walks of life, we have bet on the quality of our services. In total, it is no less than 1,200 m², spread over two levels, designed to accommodate participants of a seminar, conference, or even a business evening in Paris.
You will find there in particular two large reception rooms bathed in daylight and a space of 620m² to organize your event. Totally modular spaces thanks to an ingenious system of movable partitions. You will be able to create up to 17 separate lounges. All your assemblies will be facilitated by a freight elevator that can support up to 13.5 tonnes. It will easily allow vehicles or heavy equipment to be brought in for product launches, for example.
All the technical equipment made available to our customers is regularly renewed. You’ll find digital and analog mixing consoles as well as a 10,000-lumen Panasonic laser video system. The whole is accompanied by a Turbosound Tcx8 sound system in multicast.
Many professional WiFi hotspots are distributed throughout the site. They are all connected to 450 MB fiber optics for smooth and fast navigation.
To assist you in the organization of your events, two technical managers are permanently at your disposal. They provide all the equipment necessary for projection and sound. Our team is ready for any eventuality in order to manage last minute requests in particular.
NEWCAP Event Center is above all a partner beyond being a service provider. When we reopened, we wanted to put customer satisfaction back at the heart of our project. The main idea is to allow our customers to feel immediately at home and to establish a lasting relationship of trust.
